Beside adding some new topics in each chapter in this edition, a new chapter has been included on 'Renormalisation' to meet the recent requirement of the changing syllabi at advanced level of Quantum Field Theory in various universities and also to provide the way to face the ultra-violet divergences in peturbative quantum field theories. A large number of new solved and unsolved problems, relevant with the recent trend in the subject, have been added in each chapter and the lists of references given therein have been revised by including the recent researches being carried out (by the author also) in various fields covered in this book
