The present book "Practical Zoology" has been written to meet the requirements of the new curriculum in the practical work of B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Sc. (Ag.) and M.Sc. students. The book incorporates practical exercises relating to Cytology, Microbiology, Histology, Biochemistry, Embryology, Economic Zoology, Environmental Biology, Physiology, Animal Behaviour, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biostatistics, Pollution & Toxicology and some dissections. We hope that all exercises in this book will provide a better understanding of the subject to students. Students then will be able to do experiment in a better & efficient way. To provide better detailed knowledge of histology. We include a chapter on microtomy. A seperate chapter on biostatistics & chromosome preparation has been given to enable the student to complete their syllabus requirements.
