FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT A Global Perspective. Since the publication of the seventh edition of the book, global economic scenario along with Indian financial landscape underwent metamorphic changes leading to deepened competition and financial restructuring, increased economic interdependencies, integration of global financial markets at unprecedented pace, and greater interaction among different financial markets, giving rise to increasing volatility and uncertainty in exchange rates. While fast changing global environment has offered incredible opportunities to corporate organizations to expand and diversify their operations across the globe, these organizations are facing perilous problems in capitalizing opportunities because of complex and ferociously challenging business mileieu, increased susceptibility to economic crisis and changed complexion of competition.
