In the preparation of Second edition of the book entitled "Inorganic Chemistry-I”, we were very much keen to make the contents in the book more descriptive which would reflect the present state of knowledge. The order of presentation of contents has been changed to some extent in order to maintain a logical relationship. Some new chapters such as Quantum Chemistry, Symmetry Elements and Group Theory, Application of Symmetry and Inorganic Reagents in Inorganic Analysis have been added in this edition.
