    Thermal Physics

The present book “Heat and Thermodynamics” for B.Sc. Students is not meant to add one in the existing books; but to cover the revised and modernised syllabi of all Indian Universities and to improve the quality of the subject teaching. In particular this book covers the complete new syllabus of Agra University prescribed from the session 1969-70. The subject matter of the present text has been methodically and systematically developed from the fundamental laws of experimental physics. The book has been written keeping in mind the difficulties of the students. Efforts have been made to make the treatments simple, lucid and rather comprehensive. Great pain and care has been taken in explaining the obscure and difficult points in a simple language in a manner such that the student may feel no difficulty in following subject.
