The present book ‘’Quantum Mechanics’’ is meant for three year course of Purvanchal University. The book has been written according to latest syllabus prescribed by Purvanchal University; however the book covers the new syllabus of all India Universities on the topic. The book covers the entire syllabus in a simple language. The subject matter has been developed systematically from the fundamental laws and covers all concepts. As per syllabus the book contains all the four units. The subject matter of these units has been divided into five chapters titled “Fundamentals of Quantum Mechanics”, “Operators”, “Solution of Schrdinger equation : Eigen values and eigen functions, ‘’Spherically Symmetric Systems” and “Time independent perturbation”.
