It is a matter of great pleasure to release a thoroughly revised third edition of the book Animal Physiology and Biochemistry. Due to unavoidable reasons, the revised edition could not be published earlier. Recently, UGC has circulated CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) syllabus. The present edition of the book has been revised keeping in view the requirement of the latest syllabus. Further, many Indian universities have also modified the syllabi of the integrated course of Animal Physiology and Biochemistry, this is a sincere attempt to cater to the requirement of this integrated course.
