In the last few years University Grants Commission (UGC) had initiated the task of framing model curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate classes. Many Universities in Ind:a have taken- up the revision of their syllabi on the basis of the UGC Model Curriculum. While revising the undergraduate syllabi in Zoology, several Indian Universities have included an integrated course of “Endcrinology and Reproductive Biology”.
